Remembering Paolo Budinich

ICTP and other local science institutes known as the "Trieste System" are sponsoring an exhibit to honour the memory of Paolo Budinich on the centenary of his birth. Budinich, along with Abdus Salam, co-founded ICTP and was the main architect in the creation of many other scientific institutions in Trieste. 

The exhibit, titled "The archipelago of wonders", will start with an inaugural event on 26 August at 19:00, and will then be open daily until 25 September. It has been organized by the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and Immaginario Scientifico, in collaboration with the University of Trieste, ICTP, The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), the Fondazione Internazionale Trieste per il Progresso e la Libertà delle Scienze (FIT), and with the support of the Comune di Trieste.
