ICTP in new joint fellowship programme

The Central European Initiative (CEI), in conjunction with ICTP and other Trieste System scientific institutions, has initiated the CEI Research Fellowship Programme (CERES). The program provides post-doctoral opportunities for Nationals from CEI Member States (except Italy). 

Fellows will be given the opportunity to carry out research in one of the five partner institutions: ICTP; International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB); Cluster in Biomedicine (CBM); International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA); and Synchrotron – ELETTRA. These institutions cover a large spectrum of highly relevant scientific research such as physics, maths, genetics, biotechnology, neuroscience, nano-science, and bioinformatics, which will allow a considerable freedom of choice as to research topics.
