ICTP is now accepting nominations for the 2011 ICTP Prize. This
year's Prize will honour a young scientist working in the fields of
physics or mathematics.
The deadline has been extended to 30 September.
To be eligible, candidates should be no more than 40 years old on
31 December 2011. They should be nationals of a developing country,
working and living there, although sabbaticals and similar absences
from the home country are acceptable.

The ICTP Prize was created in 1982 by the Scientific Council to
recognise outstanding contributions in physics and mathematics.
Since then, the Prize has gained prestige and is now regarded quite
highly. It includes a sculpture, a certificate and a cash award of
Euro 3000.
