Jordan Chatwin of the UK is the winner of ICTP's logo design
contest. Chatwin designed the new look "to simplify the current
logo, keeping the most important elements and stripping away the
unnecessary details and colours." He said he chose the colour blue
"for continuity but also because blue is a colour that represents
intelligence and loyalty."
ICTP launched the logo competition in November 2011, and received
nearly 200 entries from around the world. A judging committee made
up of scientists and graphic designers reviewed all entries before
choosing the winner. The Centre would like to thank all
participants for their creative participation.
