Nicola Seriani works in the field of computational materials science, with focus on materials for sustainable energy applications.

Nicola Seriani obtained a degree in physics from the University of Trieste, and a PhD in materials science from the Dresden University of Technology.

He is the chair of the executive committee of the African School for Electronic Structure Methods and Applications (ASESMA).
